Millions of years ago the ocean was full of diatoms and not much else. When these little guys died, their skeletons fell to the bottom of the sea and formed huge deposits. Today, we mine this material and use it for a variety of things, and we offer it here. We use it mostly as a flatting agent for acrylic paints, but it works well as an inert filler for everything from resin to glue.
