Shipping policy

 


  • Order processing times: Orders placed before noon on weekdays are usually shipped the same day. Orders placed after noon or on weekends or holidays are usually shipped the next business day. We try to keep our inventory up-to-date on our website but if an item is out of stock, we will notify you asap about possible substitutions or inquire about cancelling your order.
  • Shipping Options: We ship to all states within the Continental United States.
  • Shipping costs: Shipping weight and dimensional weight are factored in to shipping costs from UPS and USPS through Shopify, and while the system tries to be as accurate as possible, there are bound to be some glitches. If the quoted shipping price comes down when we process your order, we will refund the difference back to your card. Please feel free to give us a call if you have any concerns. You can also always place an order over the phone with us if you prefer.
  • Local delivery and buy online, pickup in-store: If you place an order for pick up from our San Francisco or Richmond store, we will send you an email as soon as your order is ready. Please DO NOT come to pick up your items until you hear from us, as sometimes we need to pack a product to order or transfer items between stores, and this can take some time. If an item you ordered is out of stock, we will notify you. PLEASE NOTE: Will Call (local pick up) orders will be held for 1 week. If items are not picked up after 1 week, your card will be refunded and items will be returned to the shelf. 
  • Transparency around returns, changes and cancellations: If you are not satisfied with your product and it meets our return policy requirements, we will gladly give you a refund. If you need to change or cancel an order, please call or email us as soon as possible. Because of our online store's security, changes to an order wherein items are added may require that we get your credit card information for the additional costs of those items. If an order is lost, you can file a claim with the shipper or call us and we'll see what we can do. For heavier items that are shipped, we do our best to pack them as securely as possible, but in the event a heavy or bulk item arrives damaged, please file a claim with your shipper. 
  • Potential service interruptions. Orders may take longer to arrive due to variables outside of our control such as weather and/or carrier issues. If we are aware of these issues, we will share them with you immediately.
