Expanded polystyrene foam is often used as a base for building sculptural elements. Easily carved with hot wire tools and various abrasive tools for shaping, EPS can be laminated to form thicker shapes and covered with clay for surface textures and forms. Works well with FGR-95 and fiberglass as a finish.
