Also known as Thixo HP. This material is fumed silica. As a thickener in epoxy and polyester resins, Aerosil 200 is unsurpassed. Add just the right amount to achieve a consistency from honey to peanut butter. When thickening any of the various types of urethane or silicone rubbers this material performs wonderfully to give you a brushable consistency. Also works great as a flatting agent in solvent based varnishes and lacquers.
