Alcohol soluble resin that is primarily used as a varnish. To use, simply put the copal resin a glass or metal container and cover with denatured alcohol or similar solvent. Allow to sit for a day or so and mix occasionally until the mixture becomes clear. Decant the clear liquid from any residue and use as needed.
