Di Basic Ester (DBE) is an environment friendly, low toxicity solvent that has a mild odor and evaporates very slowly due to it’s high flash point. Can be used to clean up Polyester, Epoxy, and Polyurethane resins, as well as paints and varnishes. DBE can be used as an alternative to solvents such as Toluene, Xylene, MEK, Methylene Chloride. etc. Often referred to as a “green solvent” due to its low toxicity and biodegradability.
