Discover the art of Scagliola, a meticulous technique employing cementitious compounds and pigments to replicate stone surfaces on architectural elements such as columns and panels. This workshop will feature detailed demonstrations on the application and finishing processes used to achieve marble, granite, and other stone effects.
Under the guidance of Chris Pedrin, a distinguished master artisan renowned for decades of expertise in crafting exquisite plaster and faux stone in the Hillsborough and Atherton communities, participants will create and refine their own panel. Each attendee will have the opportunity to polish and take home their finished piece at the conclusion of the class.
The workshop will take place at Chris’s studio located in San Carlos at 1200 Industrial, #13. All necessary materials will be provided, and a light lunch will be served. Class size limited to 10. Cost of class covers all materials.
