Knowledge of anatomy is essential for painters, sculptors and animators alike. Learn all about applications for the muscles of the face in your art! This class will be taught by world-renowned forensic artist and anatomist, Gloria Nusse. Gloria is just getting back to her civilian life after having written and launching her book, Craniofacial Anatomy and Forensic Identification. Every student will go home with a finished écorché piece of their own plus an instructional handout. Class size limited to 10. Cost of class covers all materials.

You will learn:

  • How to lay basic human musculature and tissue on a faux skull using oil-based clay
  • Expressions and structures of the face and how the various musculature affects the appearance in clay
  • Muscle types and placement underneath the skin
