We've formulated this wax to be used when casting into a Moulage mold, and like moulage, this material can be used over and over again. The melting point of this wax is low enough that there is little danger of losing detail when casting. When using with a Moulage mold, the mold should be daubed dry before any Posmoulage is poured into it and the Posmoulage should be allowed to cool to about 130 – 140 degrees Fahrenheit before it is poured, so it does not melt any of the detail in the mold. Also, do not allow the Posmoulage to get too hot, as it can “flash”. Posmoulage castings last indefinitely.
